1. Order Processing & Fulfillment
At Poverty Built LLC, we strive to fulfill and deliver orders as efficiently as possible. Our shipping and delivery times vary depending on the type of product ordered.
ECU Tuning Files (Digital Delivery)
- All ECU tuning files and calibration services are delivered digitally.
- Processing Time: Orders placed on our website are typically fulfilled within 24 hours of purchase.
- Customers will receive an email containing the tune file and installation instructions at the email address provided during checkout.
- If additional information is required (e.g., ECU read file submission), fulfillment time may vary depending on customer response.
Physical Products (Hardware & Merchandise)
- Shipping times for physical products vary based on production and availability.
- Processing Time: Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days unless otherwise stated.
- Production Time: Some items, such as made-to-order or custom products, may take up to two (2) weeks for production before shipment.
- Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once their order has shipped.
2. Shipping Methods & Transit Times
Poverty Built LLC offers a variety of shipping options at checkout. Estimated delivery times depend on the selected shipping method and destination.

Domestic Shipping (U.S.):
- Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days after processing.
- Expedited Shipping: 1-3 business days after processing.

International Shipping:
- Delivery times vary depending on the destination and carrier. Estimated transit time is 7-21 business days, but delays due to customs processing may occur.
- Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees required by their country.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the shipping method, destination, and package weight.
- Free Shipping: Certain promotional items or orders over a specified amount may qualify for free shipping. Any free shipping offers will be clearly stated on the product page or at checkout.
- International Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for paying all shipping, customs, duties, and import fees required by their country.
4. Order Tracking
Once an order has shipped, customers will receive a tracking number via email.
- Tracking updates are subject to carrier processing times and availability.
- If tracking information is not updating, please allow 48 hours for the carrier to process the shipment before contacting us.
5. Shipping Delays & Lost Packages
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, the following situations may cause delays beyond our control:
- Carrier delays due to weather, high shipping volume, or other external factors.
- Customs processing times for international orders.
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.
Lost Packages:
- If a package is marked as "Delivered" but has not been received, we recommend checking with neighbors or your local post office first.
- If the package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, we will work with the shipping provider to resolve the issue.
- Poverty Built LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery is confirmed.
6. Address Changes & Order Modifications
To ensure timely fulfillment, we process orders quickly.
- Address Changes: If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately at help@povertybuilt.com.
- Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify the shipping address.
7. Returns & Exchanges
For information regarding returns, exchanges, and defective products, please review our Return Policy.
- Digital ECU tuning files are non-refundable but may be exchanged if the incorrect file was purchased.
- Physical products with manufacturing defects may be eligible for replacement within 30 days of delivery.
8. International Shipping Terms & Customs Fees
Customers placing international orders should be aware of the following:
- Customs & Duties: Import duties, taxes, and fees are determined by your country and are not included in the shipping cost. Customers are responsible for paying these fees upon delivery.
- Customs Delays: International shipments may be delayed due to customs clearance procedures. We are not responsible for any delays or additional fees imposed by customs authorities.
- If a package is refused by customs or the recipient, no refund will be issued for the shipping cost or the order itself.
