Poverty Built's own off-the-shelf 7-speed DCT transmission tunes give budget-minded builders a straightforward choice: buy Stage 1, 2, or 3 individually for $199, or choose all three for $249. You do not have to purchase earlier stages or an entire map bundle to use the stage that suits your car.

Flashing your tune

Use your own compatible flashing equipment, buy suitable software to flash from a Windows computer, or arrange installation with a qualified provider. Flashing software, licenses, cables, interfaces, and installation are purchased separately.

Bimmer Tuning Tools is an independent third-party software provider. Its tool compatibility is separate from Poverty Built's tune coverage. Confirm your controller, file format, cable, and flashing method with us before buying a tool. Follow the tool provider's power-supply and connection requirements.

Why buy a single stage?

Your budget goes toward the calibration you intend to use. The other stages are optional. xHP's Flash Combo includes its flashing license and all three OTS stages; Poverty Built sells the stage file separately so you can choose your flashing route and keep the initial purchase focused on what you need. These are different packages; this listing does not include xHP software or an xHP license.

Compatibility before checkout

For supported BMW 7-speed DCT applications. Confirm your exact transmission controller, software version, and flashing method with Poverty Built before ordering. A chassis designation alone does not confirm compatibility.

Email povertybuilt@gmail.com with your model, year, VIN, transmission/controller identification, current software identification if available, engine modifications, and intended flashing method. We will confirm support before you order. If you do not have the identification details, contact us for guidance.

Digital delivery and support

Your calibration file and applicable flashing instructions are delivered to the email address used at checkout after compatibility and order details are confirmed. No physical tune is shipped, and no tracking number is expected for the file.

This stage product does not include individualized calibration development or ongoing revisions. Custom 7-speed DCT tuning starts at $499, with two agreed calibration revisions within 30 days; contact us to confirm scope and obtain a quote. Scheduled remote flashing assistance is available separately for $50. Bench flashing, mechatronics work, and third-party installation are quoted separately.

Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes are additional. The vehicle and transmission must be mechanically healthy; tuning does not repair an existing mechanical fault. Purchases are subject to Poverty Built's posted service and refund policies.
