Wake up your BMW’s naturally aspirated 4.8L N62 with a custom Poverty Built calibration for the Bosch ME9.2 ECU. This tune is built for better throttle response, stronger midrange torque, cleaner power delivery, and optimized fueling, ignition timing, VANOS behavior, and torque/load control.

Important: This tune requires ME9.2 Quickflash to read and write the ECU. Customer must have access to ME9.2 Quickflash or arrange flashing with Poverty Built before ordering.

Stages / Gains / Pricing

Advertised gains are conservative estimates and can vary based on vehicle condition, fuel quality, maintenance, mileage, intake/exhaust setup, and transmission condition.

Stage 1 — $200

Best for mostly stock cars. Designed for OEM or near-OEM N62B48 cars running pump gas. Focuses on throttle response, clean daily drivability, ignition/fueling/VANOS optimization, and stronger midrange feel.

Stage 2 — $300

Best for cars with intake and/or exhaust upgrades. Includes Stage 1 improvements with more aggressive timing, torque/load optimization, and better use of airflow modifications.

Stage 3 — $400

Best for fully dialed custom calibration. Designed for unusual exhaust setups, headers, custom intake work, drivability corrections, or cars needing extra refinement. Includes setup-specific review and revisions until it’s dialed (Stage 3 only).

ME9.2 Quickflash is required. You will need ME9.2 Quickflash to read and write the ECU.

After ordering, you will provide your year/model/chassis, ECU read using ME9.2 Quickflash, transmission type, fuel, intake setup, exhaust setup, current modifications, current codes or drivability concerns, and selected stage.
